From a blank wall into a polished, functional focal point for a home office. This project combines floor-to-ceiling custom bookcases, closed storage, integrated LED lighting, a quartz countertop, crown molding, and a custom wood-slat TV surround.
"We hired the Home Ops Company to do a custom build out converting a spare bedroom into an office. The scope included custom built in bookshelves and converting a closet to a custom mini bar- with a custom archway. We could not have been more pleased with Katie’s work! She provided options along the way to make sure we got our dream office without overspending on unnecessary things. 10/10 recommendation to a friend!!!"
An underused closet transformed into a custom home bar, complete with an arched opening, patterend tile backsplash , stained wood countertop and floating shelves, integrated LEF lighting, open storage, and a built-in berverage fridge. The new arch and rich finsihed turned a previously utilitarian space into a distinctive old-world European feature of this room.
During two full day visits at a 130+ yr old home we completed a number of tasks from the owner's to-do list including: Cleaning the washing machine filter, removing lint from two dryer vents, fixing a drawer so it could full close, hanging a cabinet in the fully tiled bathroom, adjusting a closet door latch so it could latch, re-caulking two showers and a toilet base, tapping flooring nails down, filling scratches on a wood door frame, installing door threshold, and projecting costs for multiple future projects.
The best part of this work is that it motivated the homeowner to do a few little things on their own that they've been putting off before and after I was there. The excitement of getting those things off their list was contagious and I did a few things from my own to-do list because of it. Sometimes it doesn't take much effort to make a huge difference.

The owner's have art and a console table they love - they just wanted a little more personality in this living room nook. Wallpaper, a floating shelf and sconces are on the way to bring this nook to life!
You don't have to do it all. You just need a plan.
